In German.. the combination of “er” sounds like ar (at least that is what i hear). When you play this audio file, you can notice how the girl pronounces differently the ending of the word “locker” when she speaks at normal speed; for me, that is totally a “ar” sound like.

I started to look for a new apartment about 3 weeks ago… I visited already a couple ( around 5 ). Today I am visiting another one that looks promising, very well located and seems to have a nice kitchen ( since I have been into cooking since I move alone ) which is a big plus.. it also has a balcony, so I already imagine myself having breakfast there…

I hope this hunting finishes today =)

Well, it is 1:01 AM and I am having a hard time trying to sleep… a lot of things going trough my head right now: work , my german language classes, apartment hunting… f****** valentine’s day coming …. whatever! I’ll keep trying.
